Shrek: The Famous Hermit Sheep Of TarrasStock informationGeneral Fields

DescriptionThe text for this book was written by the children of Tarras School and edited by teachers, parents and John Perriam. The story, written through the eyes of a child, tells of Shrek's start in life at Bendigo Station, his journey to the mountains above, how he found a cave and made it home and, finally, how he was discovered and his road to fame. Illustrations for the book were undertaken, by Tarras resident artist Jenny Chisholm, herself a mother of two children destined for the school. The paintings produced superbly illustrate both the character of Shrek and the beauty of the local landscape. |
