Justin Doyle is a sports journalist with "The Sun" newspaper. Residing in Virginia, County Cavan, he writes on horse racing as well as penning a weekly golf column called "Fore." "Rory" is his third major sports book. It follows on from his 2003 debut best-seller "Misunderstood," the autobiography of controversial GAA footballer Graham Geraghty. This was followed in 2004 by "Pearl," the story of Irish racehorse Florida Pearl, which was acclaimed by the Irish Post as one of the best books ever written about horse racing.
